Expiration_Date:
Adds expiration dates to posts and pages
This plug-in adds a meta box to the post and page writing pages in wp-admin to set up an expiration date for that item. It uses the WordPress cron feature to be executed once a day.
After the expiration date the post will be in the trash can of WordPress. The plug-in does not delete any post, but WordPress will do depending on the trash can settings.

Hi,
I installed this plugin with wordpress 2.9, but it doesn’t work, it doesn’t change the post status to “draft” or delete it, just wondering when will you update the plugin so it works with WP2.9?
Thanks

Hi Folks,
sorry for not coming back to you earlier. Now there is a new version of the plugin that is compatible with WordPress 2.9 (at least on my machine. :-) )
Thanks,

Hi, First of all great plugin!
Is it possible to add this feature not only to post and pages, but also to new custom post types which can be created in WP3.0?
CHEERS!
Hi,
Can I add an expiration date as a custom field instead of entering data in the special box?
utregfanatic.nl:
It will come.
shell:
the customfield is called “_expiration_date” and it should contain a unix-timestamp.
—————————————————
wp_trash_post($a->post_id);
————————————————-
geschrieben hast , folgendes geschrieben:
—————————————————
$post_categories = wp_get_post_categories($a->post_id);
foreach($post_categories AS $key => $id) {
if ($id == 5) $post_categories[$key] = 21;
}
wp_set_post_categories($a->post_id, $post_categories);
——————————————
Leider funktioniert es nicht.
Kannst du mir vielleicht einen Tipp geben, warum das nicht geht?
Ich kann nicht gut programmieren -viellleicht ist es nur ein schreibfehler …???
Vielen Dank und schöne Grüße
Irmengard
Hi Hetjens,
Great and simple plugin. Just installed under a networked wp 3.0.1.
Created a post and set the expiration date. Seems I will have to wait till tomorrow to see if the post has actually expired.
Is there any way to test it directly?
I have also prepared a pt_BR translation. It is available to you so just tell me and I will send you.
Regards,
I had added your plugin, i set the expiration date of post to yesterday to check if it works or less, but it didn’t works.
Moreover i want know if it’s possible show the expiration date on the post.
Thanks for your collaboration.
Cars and houses are not very cheap and not every person is able to buy it. Nevertheless, business loans are invented to support different people in such hard situations.
Don’t have money to buy a car? Don’t worry, because it’s available to get the mortgage loans to work out such kind of problems. So take a car loan to buy all you require.
